Community Action Initiative has opened it’s annual call for LOI’s!  Deadline April 16th, 2012

Stage One Convening Grants up to $7,000

Stage Two Grants (by invitation) include: Innovation/Emerging Needs Stream (up to $200,000) and Enhancing Access Stream (up to $50,000)

The scope of this funding opportunity is to enhance access to existing training and stimulate the development of new training which enables community-based organizations to address, in an integrated way, community mental well-being by responding to the needs of clients who may be experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, problematic substance use and/or mental health challenges. This opportunity will be a two-stage application process:

Stage One Convening grants in the amount of up to $7,000 are available to provide developmental funding intended to enhance the capacity of community organizations to establish partnerships in support of training to enable community-based organizations to address, in an integrated way, community mental well-being by responding to the needs of clients who may be experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, problematic substance use and/or mental health challenges.

Conference Call for this funding opportunity:  The CAI Secretariat will hosting a series of conference calls to provide potential applicants with information, as well as to clarify questions on the application process. The calls will be held on:
