Hello, Funds Fans!  Welcome to Friday.  I must say, I have been inspired by all the charitable organizations I’ve learned about through this blog and the many charitable activities going on out there that we’ve learned about from our new Twitter friends.  A while back, I posted our thoughts on “profit“, doing good is profitable – perhaps not for the pocketbook but for the soul.  So, amen for all of you who are out there doing good.  It just feels good to do good.

For any of you who are in the process of setting up a charitable organization or a non-profit within Canada or if you are looking to extend your social media reach, the Pixel Sweatshop offers a unique in-kind donation program to support select charitable organizations.  As part of this program, they will match your organization dollar-for-dollar, up to a maximum of $10,000 of in-kind support to help increase your reach through web, social and print media.

The goals of Pixel’s Code for Change program are to help charities increase accessibility to available services for marginalized individuals; increase the capacity for organizations to operate effectively using online communication; and to lower organizational core operating costs.  Application forms can be obtained online.

It’s short but sweet today, folks.
