Saturday Post: Flood Disaster Financial Assistance for B.C.

Hi Funds Fans!  It’s the Flood Watch Weekend here in the Fraser Valley.  We are praying for the safety of all the families, livestock and property of those most affected and threatened by the surging Fraser River.

For any of you suffering flood related damages in B.C., please check B.C.’s Disaster Financial Assistance page for eligibility and guidelines.  A current list of eligible areas is as follows:  (please note the application deadlines!)

Geographic Area:        Recreational Community of Tulameen

Geographic Area:  Kelowna, West Kelowna, Westbank First nation (area bounded by Old Boucherie Rd to the south, Pritchard Rd to the east, and Boucherie Rd to the north and west)
