NEW: Funding for families coping with a child’s mental disability

Mental disability supportsSunday greetings, Funds Fans!  Tomorrow is a big day on the funding front as several organizations open their Spring Call for applications.  Today I want to share a new funder I’ve just found.

The Toots Farrell Foundation will offer grants to families for disparate treatments and therapies including but not limited to:

NIDS Doctor Consultation, Floortime/VBABA, Cooper’s Wish (a Make-A-Wish® spin-off) created specifically for Parents or care-givers caring for these gifted children (whether it be a spa day or a treatment for their child), an Ipad, Respite, CranioSacral Therapy, Homeopathy, Private School Support/Tuition, Manipulatives and Materials, Listening Therapy, Vision Therapy, Airfair, Lodging, and/or out of state phone consultations, Extra-Curricular Activities with NT peers, and any intervention you deem necessary to which you can support.

The Toots Farrell Foundation is an official IRS 501c3 NFP, and does not discriminate on the basis of disability, race, religion, country, state, color, or INCOME level of the family.  Grants will be awarded based on immediate need and the families journey.  Grant applicants will be considered for two years, and placed on waitlist according to date of application if not immediately able to fund. A $35.00 membership fee is required for an application to be considered.
