More grants from Civil Forfeiture proceeds

BC Civil Forfeiture Funds

Hello Funds Fans!  Searching a bit deeper into the archives, I found that the current Civil Forfeiture funding from B.C. has two other funding themes aside from the Youth-At-Risk funding blogged earlier this week.  Check it out!

The B.C. Ministry of Justice is accepting applications for one-time grant funding to support projects that:

  1. Develop or enhance domestic violence units
  2. Prevent sexual exploitation and/or human trafficking of vulnerable women and girls
  3. Prevent youth involvement in crime (previously blogged)

Qualifying groups can include local governments, community and youth organizations, provincial organizations, schools, school districts, Parent Advisory Councils (PACs), police departments/detachments, Aboriginal organizations and First Nations Bands.  All applications must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17th, 2013.
