Up to $10,000 for active living programs for children

Children's program fundingIt’s a great day, Funds Fans!  Money, money, money…Everywhere for everything 🙂  I just love the abundance in this world.  However, as you know it takes thoughtful, dedicated people to turn the inanimate object of money into something really valuable.  Amiright?  Just before we get to today’s post, please note that the January Deadline Alert is jam packed with other funding opportunities and I recently posted about funding for diabetes program support as well as for projects related to the preservation and revitalization of Aboriginal languages for the benefit of Aboriginal peoples and other Canadians.

Okay, here’s todays good news; GoodLife Kids Foundation is accepting requests for funding from registered charities and other qualified donees that provide opportunities for kids to benefit from an active life.  If your organization offers a sustainable physical activity program for kids ages 4 to 14 that will positively impact their present and future activity levels, then please review their Grant Program Criteria and apply using their online application form. Grants up to $10,000.  Deadline: January 31, 2014.
