oka water basinHi Funds Fans!  Welcome to 2015 and a brand new fund – new to me, anyway.  Please share with networks in the beautiful Okanagan Valley of British Columbia.

The Okanagan Basin Water Board (OBWB) is now accepting applications to its 2015 Water Conservation and Quality Improvement (WCQI) Grant Program. This program is intended to build a collaborative approach to water management and promote more uniform standards and best practices throughout the valley. The OBWB hopes that the program will increase knowledge sharing and lead to the development of innovative solutions. The purpose of the program is to assist local organizations in addressing water issues and to enhance the valley-wide sustainable use of water. The OBWB aims to foster innovative and collaborative projects that might otherwise lack funds to move forward in a timely manner.  Individual grants are $3,000 minimum and $30,000 maximum.  Deadline: February 6th, 2015.

Eligible applicants are: Local governments, Irrigation or improvement districts, Community and non-profit groups.

There it is, folks.  Go and get it!  Don’t forget to check out the Deadline Alerts for January!
