A new fund for social justice programs

Hi Funds Fans!  A new funder 🙂  Hooray!!

Tiet Foundation aims to support organizations that maximize impact and create change. Its grant programs seek to support high-impact, low-cost solutions to the world’s toughest problems—in particular, social injustices.

Its latest grant cycle is now open and organizations can request funding of up to $5000 USD. It mostly supports projects in the areas of:

  • Social/economic inequalities
  • Marginalized populations (women, older adults, people with disabilities, LGBTQI, indigenous/native people, refugees/internally displaced persons, etc.)

Funding is given to organizations that are either direct service providers or work in the field of advocacy.  Funds may be used for general organization support or for a project.  Deadline: March 31st, 2015.

Don’t forget to check out the long list of funds available in February here.
