Home Depot Canada: Putting an end to youth homelessness

Orange DoorThe Home Depot Canada Foundation is dedicated to putting an end to youth homelessness in Canada. They are taking action to bring housing and hope to homeless youth in Canada through The Orange Door Project.  Through The Orange Door Project, Home Depot is now accepting grant applications from registered Canadian charities for two grant programs that support the work of charitable organizations dedicated to helping put an end to youth homeless in Canada.  Please feel free to apply to both.

The Orange Door Project Grants aims to provide funding for repair and refurbishment projects to charities who support homeless youth.  Grants up to $50,000.  LOI due: Friday November 11, 2016. 

The Orange Door Awards aims to recognize youth-serving organizations that effectively seek and incorporate feedback from youth in their work.  The aim is to hear about how youth serving organizations gain the input of youth and their lived experience, and also to identify how the funding could benefit the organization in implementing the feedback of youth. Grant is $25,000.  Deadline to apply: Friday November 11, 2016.
